Still hurting

Readers of this blog know my elbow is broken.

Sorry about my light posting. I shall return.

In the meanwhile, Michelle Malkin reminds us of the U.S.S. Cole.

I hope that at least it is improving a bit. How much longer do you expect it to be in the cast?

    Thank you, HS75.
I just returned home yesterday from my second surgical procedure. I am very much cheered that my surgeon physicion tells he was/is very happy with Friday's operation. If he is right and I am lucky enough to heal well, I may get out of the woods with my elbow operating well enough for me to resume my old habits and routines. I'll be glad if I regain 90% mobility in 9 - 12 months.

I'm not in a cast as of yet and I'm not sure I ever will be. I'm in a splint. A cast would inhibit the low-level exercises I need to do. My splint comes off in 10 days. It is important that I be able to exercise palm up-palm down so as to not allow the joint to freeze.

Thanks for your thoughts, HS75 and other pinkmonkeybird readers. I got legs and I (and Tina Turner) know how to use them. That's why I haven't taken you up on your generous and kind offer to make a grocery run for me.

Also, pinkmonkeybird readers will be very pleased to know that not only have I regained my bm regularity that is often disturbed by anethesia, but I had the energy and the will and the means to clean my bathroom today. That's an accomplishment with use of just one arm. Try it sometime.

    Things are looking up.
